Dave Swartzendruber,
Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pinecrest Capital, LLC in Huntersville, North Carolina, is a 25-year veteran of middle-market growth, M&A, and operational turnarounds for family-owned and privately held companies valued at $10 million to $250 million.
He has managed and overseen more than $175 million in buy-side, sell-side, and recapitalization deals, restructured over $35 million in debt, and partners with investors, family offices, and institutions managing upwards of $10 billion in assets. Bringing an operator’s perspective, Dave helped scale one of his businesses, an Inc. 5000 IT-services firm, from start-up to 120-plus professionals with multimillion-dollar EBITDA and later transformed a three-person M&A boutique firm into a 30-member financial services firm. His strategic initiatives include overseeing multimillion-dollar NASCAR sponsorships to boost brand equity and pipeline growth. He attended Ferris State University, holds an active North Carolina Insurance license, (Life & Health and Property & Casualty), FAA pilot certifications.
Outside the office, he enjoys flying, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
